Because my husband decided that dressing in green for St. Patrick's Day was unnecessary, I decided I'd bring the Irish in a bit with dinner. I stopped home between my jobs and put corned beef and cabbage in the crock pot (with potatoes and onions...sadly, I was out of carrots). It was a tasty St. Patrick's Day dinner which I enjoyed in my green-striped top!

i always scoff and the idea of being forced to wear green, but i do so anyway. primarily because i don't want to hear about it (and because i remember alaina being a particular stickler for this rule when we were growing up:).
corned beef sounds good... i was wanting that, but i worked til 9.:(

Thanks for the reminder - Terry, as Irish as he is, does not like corned beef and cabbage - okay it's not even a dish they have in Ulster. But, since he is heading that way and the girls like it - I said I'd buy one. thanks for the reminder.
