At the 4 month and the 8 month marks of 2009, I took inventory of the books I'd completed. I've been slow in putting up my final reading round-up. But, finally (I know you've been waiting with baited breath, right?), here it is, 20 more books, which brings my 2009 totals to 79! Looking at the list I feel like I forgot a few books, but since I apparently didn't record them, they must not have been that riveting in the first place.
A Long, Long Time Ago and Essentially True by Brigid Pasulka
Prairie School by Lois Lenski
Skating Shoes by Noel Streatfeild
Maisie Dobbs by Jacqueline Winspear
Texas Tomboy by Lois Lenski
Confections of a Closet Master Baker by Gesine Bullock-Prado
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling
Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld
Joy in the Morning by Betty Smith
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling (audio)
Ms. Hempel Chronicles by Sarah Shun-lien Bynum
Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout
A Rumpole Christmas by John Mortimer
The Tenth Muse by Judith Jones
The Help by Kathryn Stockett
Asta in the Wings by Jan Elizabeth Watson
Matchless by Gregory Maguire
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by J.K. Rowling (audio)
Persuasion by Jane Austen
Some of my favorites were The Tenth Muse (by Julia Child's editor), The Help, The Hunger Games, and Persuasion.
Hope you enjoy! How was your 2009 reading?

Wow...I think I read like 3 books total. That's depressing. Maybe, my new year's resolution should be to use more down time to read rather than doing nothing or watching tv. Yes, I think that's a good idea... you are inspiring.
